Overview

I am a highly skilled web professional with over 8 years experience working with web sites and web applications and a BA (Honours) in Digital Media. I am adaptable, self-motivated and responsive in my working approach. I am currently working as a User Interface Developer, which demands a wealth of web experience; including technical, creative and user experience knowledge. I have a wide skill-set that makes me an asset to have on any web development team, working on projects from initial briefs through to final implementation. My strengths lie in XHTML/CSS hand coding, user experience design, web usability, accessibility and promoting good working practices in client side web development.

Personal hobbies & interests

I am a big fan of the British classic, the mini. I completed the Italian Job National Children’s Home charity rally to Italy in 2002, which involved raising money and driving to Italy to complete a 3-day rally. When I have time I try and pick up my Spanish book to learn another language. I recently decided to start a GCSE in Spanish to learn the language in more depth which I will finish in May 2007. I can speak conversational Portuguese as I lived there for 3 years in my childhood.

I enjoy taking photos at any opportunity especially natural settings and plant life. These usually end up on one of my websites for people to download as desktop wallpapers.

Food, glorious food. I love cooking and tasting new dishes. One of my favourite places to go whenever I am in London is Borough market. It is the best place to experience if you love food!
