Video tagging with Viddler.com

Wine video picture

I was on the wine library TV a few days ago and whilst watching “90 Point Wine Values – Episode #248” and I saw these small circles on the video time line. I curiously hovered over them and was surprised when a little bubble of information popped up. Oh “how cute” I thought. So I clicked it and nothing happened, I clicked a few more times and then the video jumped to a new part of the clip. Not sure why the first time I clicked it didn’t work, my connection was slow? Who knows. Wanting to know more about this new idea for tagging video I clicked through to Viddler whose logo appeared in the bottom right corner of the video player.

Icon design

Mac icon

I’ve recently been doing a lot of Mac house keeping, due to my purchase of a MacBook Pro and wanting to keep my files nice and tidy and start a new filing system. Backing up files and deleting rubbish that I don’t need. This kind of job always takes a while, as I am sure you can appreciate. You always get caught up looking through old projects or things that you did a long time ago. It’s amazing how much you can take on and how involved you can get with projects or assignments that you have to do. I was scanning through loads of things I had forgotten I had done!
