iPad – Exploring a touchscreen interface

I’ve just spent 30 mins playing with the new iPad… Now; I don’t own an iPhone or a touch screen phone, so I felt like a novice as I played with it. Both from a touch screen point of view and a UI perspective. I kept hearing people saying, “It’s just a big iPhone” and “It can do everything your laptop can do. And it’s a lot lighter”. This made me chuckle as I explored my way through the iPad, trying my best to play with all the features I could. The one thing that kind of bugged me was how it felt clumsy to explore. Now I’m not having a dig at the iPad, I just suddenly got thinking about the differences in how people learn and explore when they use a touch screen.

Where should I live – a clever mashup

Where should I live? Map of London.

I am on the search for where to live in London and I wanted to get a rough idea which areas in London are more crime ridden than the next! I typed into Google, “crime maps London” and I came across this little beauty which was exactly what I was after.
