Jupiter Design - Launch the new site

I am very pleased to announce the new Jupiter website has now gone live. Over at Jupiter the Digital team have been working really hard to complete this site on a very tight timescale and keep present clients happy too.

The new site boasts a new mix of XHTML 1.0/CSS and Flash in a way we have certainly not seen before. We had to overcome some issues getting the site to work the way we wanted, as we were aiming for the best mix of Flash (for visual effects) and HTML (for site structure). We have managed to design the site with a Flash layer sitting beneath the HTML giving us the best of both worlds. Thanks to CSS and Javascript it’s worked a treat.

We also now have a blog! I am so happy to say that Wordpress was used for the job and I had great fun building the new templates and plugging in some nice tagging tools for posts. I am impressed with how easy and flexible the Wordpress system is for designing and building your own layout. The documentation on the WP site is pretty comprehensive and I would recommend you take a look if you are thinking of using it for a blog solution.
