It’s a hard life being a web designer…

My head hurts… really hurts today. I have had one of those days where I just wanted to do some quick research… and then it lead on to reading articles on DOM1 drop down menu’s, interviews, one with Derek Featherstone, listening to pod casts & slideshows from last years web 05, and then bookmarking a load more for future reading and then another book I must buy, added to my list to read/eat and digest ASAP. huff….

Can you see why my head hurts? It always starts with innocent browsing, but people link to related content, so you cannot just read an article and leave it at that. They will be at least 2-3 good links off that and then they have their own links. LOL. It is a network of addictive information entangled in blog’s, articles, e-zines and more that you just can’t get enough of! All hail the web!

Now, I am not complaining… I just wanted to stop, think and document everything I have taken out of this mad surfing session. It’s days like these that you feel exhausted after trying to keep up with everything that you have read and then can’t wait to try it all out on the next project you work on.

So today… I can take a deep breath and relax… or at least until I need to Google the next “web thing”? I can think of.

I’d hold off buying Constructing Accessible Web Sites for a while; it’s pretty out-of-date. And a litte bird tells me that it’s being updated and will be published imminently http://www.friendsofed.com/book.html?isbn=1590596382
